Global Energy Pakistan and gepapp.net respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect users and content contributors to do the same. We take copyright infringement seriously and have established this DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) Policy to address any copyright-related complaints regarding content published on gepapp.net.

While the DMCA is a United States law, gepapp.net adopts its principles as a global best practice for handling intellectual property complaints. We will respond promptly and appropriately to any legitimate copyright infringement notice regardless of the complainant’s country of origin.

How to Submit a Copyright Infringement Notice

If you believe that content published on gepapp.net infringes upon your copyright, please submit a written DMCA takedown notice to our designated contact. Your notice must include all of the following information to be considered valid and actionable:

Our Response Process

Upon receiving a valid and complete DMCA takedown notice, gepapp.net will take the following steps:

  • We will acknowledge receipt of your notice within 48 hours via the contact information you provided.
  • We will review the claimed infringement and assess whether the content in question appears to violate your copyright.
  • If the content is found to be infringing, we will remove or disable access to it promptly, typically within 5 to 10 business days of receiving a valid notice.
  • We will notify the person who posted the content that it has been removed and provide them with a copy of your DMCA notice if required.
  • We will maintain a record of all DMCA notices received as required by applicable law.

Counter-Notification

If content you posted on gepapp.net has been removed in response to a DMCA notice and you believe the removal was in error or that you have the right to use the content, you may submit a counter-notification. A valid counter-notification must include:

  • Your full name and contact information including email address and phone number.
  • Identification of the content that was removed and the URL where it appeared before removal.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of applicable courts and will accept service of process from the original complainant.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Counter-notifications will be reviewed and the complainant will be notified. Content may be restored within 10 to 14 business days of receiving a valid counter-notification unless the original complainant files a court action to restrain reinstatement of the content.

Repeat Infringers

gepapp.net has a policy of terminating the accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers of intellectual property rights. In appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, we will disable and terminate accounts of users who repeatedly post infringing content, regardless of whether the content is eventually removed after notice.
